Living Legends, Memory in Motion
It is an intergenerational and international project where oral culture interacts with digital culture. It focuses on the compilation and illustration of the oral tradition preserved by the grandparents of Latin America and Europe and rescued by the young people through animation techniques acquired in itinerant training. In addition, a handbook was developed that can be downloaded by teachers and youth for free to replicate the experience around the world.
Living Legends is a project produced by La Cinta Corta and had the cooperation of Pulsar Cultural Foundation for its production in Ecuador, obtaining the support of various institutions, among which the Global Greengrants Fund stands out. The project has international partners such as: Germany Movement, Casa B and Altiplano from Colombia and Kino Buss from Estonia, with which the support of the Erasmus + program of the European Union was obtained in 2016.
